New Features of Google Click-to-Message Ads: Auto Replies and Email Forwarding

Google has introduced enhanced advertising solutions to help marketers get ready for the holiday season. These improvements simplify managing click-to-message ads:
- Thanks to email forwarding, it’s possible to send text messages to your inbox, so there’s no need for a phone number to get started with message extensions. Reply to the email and your customer will receive your message.
- With auto replies, you can rest assured your customers are engaged when they message you, even if you’re away. Simply set up an automatic message, for example, “Thanks for getting in touch! We’ll respond in a minute.”
The company has also claimed they are revamping their click-to-message ads analytics to introduce new ways to measure their performance.
A new element in the analytics is message conversions. It allows to set up the minimal user activity that is considered a conversion. If, on average, you customers interact with you three times before making a purchase, then you can define three exchanges to be your conversion threshold.
