It is an original way to storytelling and is entirely mobile-focused.
Considering the novelty from a technical point of view, it is worth mentioning that Google minimized possible technical challenges to give publishers the vast array of opportunities to concentrate on storytelling. Google developers also note that AMP stories are based on the AMP infrastructure that allows not only creating stories fast but also using pre-rendering pages, optimized video loading and caching to optimize delivery to the end user. Also, templates layouts along with standardized UI controls, and components for sharing and adding follow-on content are to help publishers.
AMP stories are available today for free in a preview mode. Nonetheless, it is necessary to check out documentary and tutorial before starting to use the new format.
